FREEDOM 100 PREVIEW
One of the Biggest Races of the Year for the VRT Racing Team comes this Saturday at Galesburg Speedway in the Running of the annual Freedom 100 for the Latemodels. This Race always brings some of the Area's Finest Latemodel drivers such as Brandon Lyons,Andy & Phil Bozell,Jeff Vochaska,Randy Day and More to do Battle for 100 laps paying $2000.00 to the Winner. Always a Exciting Race!.. Who can't Forget last years event when our own Adam VanAvery in his Purple Deuce led the 1st 90 laps only to have the Motor go Sour with 10 laps to go (sorry Adam for bringing that back up).. Then Jesse pulling off a 2nd place finish behind Race Winner Phil Bozell..That Race was the Talk of the Year!! Even at the Kalamazoo Speedway Banquet.. Adam made a Great Run and put his name up there with the Area's Elite Drivers! Jesse's 2nd place finish was also the Talk, as he has already became a heavy Favorite for this years Race.
The VRT Team has both Cars in the Garage and Brad has been making some adjustments to both in preperation for this years event. There may even be a SURPRISE for our VRT Fan's on Saturday....We'll leave it at that for now! The weather appears to be cooling off a bit, So hopefully Saturday won't be so Humid and Hot!! There calling for 82 and sunny! But be prepaired anyway with plenty of COLD Liquids! We'll see all of you Saturday for The FREEDOM 100......

THE VANAVERYS BRAD & PEGGY PUT ON ANOTHER AWESOME FIREWORK PARTY WITH THE BIGGEST TURN-OUT EVER! SOME 50 OR MORE ADULTS ALONG WITH OVER 30 KIDS ATTENDED THE FESTIVITIES TO WATCH THE BIGGEST AND BEST SHOW YET ALOT OF THE TEAM AND FRIENDS DONATED TOWARD THE EVENT WITH OVER $800.00 IN FIREWORKS PURCHASED. |
