FOR 2009
CHECK OUT OUR NEW CAR DESIGNS FOR 2009 BY CLICKING ON THE VIEW CAR IDEAS LINK TO THE LEFT (Tell us What ya Think)
The Team has began work on Adam's Latemodel for next season as the Chassis will be pretty much the same, But with some new Suspension Components from Sweet Mfg. The New Body design is in the works, as Ol Betsy has been torn off and put to rest!! a sad day, as Ol Betsy saw many wins and was a major part of the VRT Racing Team. Some panels will be displayed on the shop wall as a Tribute to her! Adam has yet to decide on a paint scheme for his car, we have added the link with some of Kevin Englands designs made up on his computer. We're kinda leaning toward a PLUM CRAZY return, But nothing official yet. Jesse's car is still in the Hauler, as Jesse is taking some time away from the garage to do some serious Deer Hunting. Jesse's car won't recieve alot of change, except for a new look body, that Jesse and Brad have designed.. (It will be Totally Cool and Sharp)!! The plan will remain silent with the team until the work has actually begun. Jesse and Adam attended the Awards banquet last weekend and picked up some nice Trophys for there efforts, But were shocked at some of the Driver awards that were giving out. Adam was looking to recieve the Latemodel Rookie of The Year award but was shocked to find out that the track forgot they had a Rookie in that Class!! MMMMM. anyway it will be to Adam's advantage next season as he will be Eligable for that same award. We were also kind ahocked to learn that Kevin England did'nt recieve the Most Improved Driver award in the Street-Stock division, as Kevin put together a awesome run the last half of the season, Leading almost ever A-feature, and winning 3!! We'll look forward to seeing Kevin make a serious run at the Track championship next year in the Street-Stocks Also look forward to watching good friend Bob Metheny make his debut in the Latemodel Class driving for Jim Gallaway. Bob drove the car at the Call of the Wild and the Supershoe, and looked very comfortable and drove the car well. Brads plans on trying a comeback to racing is in the works as well, Not sure what class, either Latemodel or Sportsman! So next season looks to be a Fun and exciting season that we are looking forward to already!
We will keep ya posted as progress goe's with the Cars and any major News with the Team. Till then remember what your Dad always told ya, KEEP YOUR STICK ON THE ICE |
